A new update to Visual Studio 11 Beta was released on April 3, 2012. I am not sure if it shows up in public download area of MSDN or not. But if you have MSDN subscription, it will show up in available downloads section. It is dated 4/3/2012. This update is specific to VS11 itself. There does not seem to be any updates to .Net 4.5 framework.
Few days ago DotnetNuke released much awaited DNN6.0. This is a big change in development framework. For starters the core is written in C# now. Finally no more VB.Net implementation. Although when it comes to IL, the bytes are same if you develop in C# or VB.Net. But lot of people wanted this changed to C#. I tried to use the latest code and ran into issue with HTML module that I could not add content without running into a javascript error. I looked in DNN forums and I see lot of people having problems with upgrade from older version and some having problem with fresh install as well. I guess it will be worth waiting for couple of patch releases before switching existing portals to DNN6.0.
Google announced release of their another social network application, Google+. After failing with Orkut and Buzz, Google is attempting to fix what they did wrong with previous attempts. Hopefully 3 times is a charm. The membership is not open to everybody at the moment. It is by invitation only. You can goto Google+ site to sign up for future invite.
Google has published more updates on how you can make your web site more effective. This updates seem to have some specific information on what you can do to improve ranking of your web site in google search.
