In all desktops, laptops and mobile devices you have a task bar sitting at the bottom of your screen. In operating system like Windows you do have a choice of pinning the task bar to any side of your view. This task bar consumes real estate on your screen. You only need to interact with task bar when you want to switch your application or do some other action from it. So for most part, this task bar is sitting there. You can utilize this space by hiding this task bar and make it appear when you want to use it.
In Windows 10, you can use following steps to hide task bar and make it appear when you move mouse at the bottom of your screen.
As you as you will turn on the option, you will notice that task bar disappears. Move the mouse to the bottom edge of screen, the taskbar will appear automatically.
